Welcome back!! For this
blog post we had to do an exercise on brain storming. I did not know my topic
for which I would research. First, I had to brain storm under the following
words: Places, trends, technology, people, controversies, jobs, habits, and
hobbies. It might not make very much sense to you but that okay, as you read
further it will be clearer. Then we had to answer these questions about
something we brain stormed to find out what exactly would be good for a topic: Is
this something that raises questions that research can help answer? Are they potentially
interesting questions? Does this item get a something I’ve always wondered
about? Might it open door to knowledge I think is important, fascinating, or
relevant to my life? Finally, I picked my topic! I chose Love and what exactly
the brain does when you “fall in love” or are “in love”. I have been really curious
if the brain and heart have any connection or just what the brain functions are
of “love”. Lastly, we had to ask questions about the topic. The questions are
used to keep my curiosity going about the topic, so I can maintain being
passionate about it.
I
never tried something like this before and I had no clue what I was going to
write about. I have many interests but never really took the time to sort them
out and if I would have tried to sort them out it would have been a complete failure.
I would highly recommend this method if you are ever writing a research paper,
even if you know what you want to write about. Just because it might spark
multiple interests and you might be able to combine a few topics to make it an all-around
full paper with great information.

research can help answer?
Are they potentially interesting questions?
Does this item get a something I’ve always wondered
about? Might it open door to knowledge I think is important, fascinating, or
relevant to my life?
